When Stained Glass Shatters

JOSETTE CHAMBERS

When Stained Glass Shatters – A legal thriller tightly woven around the day-to-day ups and downs of nearly-teenaged Chao Graham, and her hard-charging, corporate attorney mom, Ronni, a single parent. When Ronni decides to take on a pro bono criminal appeal, the worst thing happens leaving Chao distraught beyond measure. In her grief, she clings to what she loves best—dance.

For five years, Chao’s family and friends—most notably, Granddad and grandmother, Mimi—attempt to help Chao navigate and confront the collateral damage wrought by the tragedy. During a fateful ride on high school graduation day, Chao finally comes to terms with her personal demons. And, of course, that’s exactly how Granddad and Mimi planned it.

When the hunter’s arrow mortally wounds its intended victim, it also pierces the hearts of those who stand close. Those collateral victims of violence…and tragedy…are at the heart of When Stained Glass Shatters.
